Position: Machine Shop Supervisor

Job Responsibilities:

• Production & Process Management

• Supervise daily machining operations (VMC, HMC, VTL, CNC, etc.) ensuring target achievement.
• Plan, allocate, and monitor manpower, machines, and resources effectively.
• Achieve production targets with focus on quality, cost, and delivery timelines.

• CNC Programming & Process Optimization

• Develop and validate CNC programs for precision machining.
• Optimize machining cycles, tool paths, and reduce cycle times.
• Work on process improvements to minimize machining costs.

• Fixtures & Tooling

• Design, develop, and validate machining fixtures and jigs.
• Ensure proper usage and maintenance of tooling and fixtures.
• Collaborate with design/NPD team for new fixture developments.

• Quality Assurance

• Ensure strict adherence to machining tolerances and quality standards.
• Coordinate with QA team for inspections using CMM and conventional methods.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions for quality issues.

• Cost & Efficiency Management

• Prepare machining cost estimation for new components.
• Monitor OEE (Overall Equipment Efficiency) and reduce idle time.
• Control scrap, rework, and tool consumption costs.

• Team & Safety Management

• Supervise and guide operators, ensuring skill development.
• Conduct training on CNC operations, safety, and best practices.
• Maintain a safe and disciplined shop floor environment.

Candidate Profile:

• Strong hands-on experience in

  CNC programming & operations (VMC, HMC, VTL, CMM)

  .
• Good knowledge of

  fixtures, tooling, cycle time estimation, and machining cost analysis

  .
• Experience in

  foundry machining / precision machining industry

  preferred.
• Leadership ability to manage machine operators and shop floor activities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
