Machine Operator

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Machine Operator with 1–2 years of relevant experience in a high-speed production environment. The candidate must be capable of handling shrink wrapping machines efficiently with a consistent throughput of 90 bottles per minute, ensuring tight wrapping, proper alignment, and minimal wastage.

Key Responsibilities:

* Operate and maintain shrink wrapping machines to achieve a consistent speed of *90 bottles per minute (BPM)*.

* Monitor packaging process to ensure correct alignment, film tension, and sealing quality.

* Set up and change over the machine based on pack size and bottle configuration (e.g., 6-packs, 12-packs).

* Inspect shrink-wrapped bottles for defects such as loose wraps, misalignment, or overheating.

* Perform basic troubleshooting, maintenance, and cleaning of the shrink wrapping machine.

* Ensure film roll changes and adjustments are done promptly to avoid production delays.

* Record daily production data, downtime, and material usage accurately.

* Coordinate with quality control and maintenance teams for any operational or product quality concerns.

* Maintain hygiene and safety standards as per the company's SOP and FMCG industry norms.

* Support overall production targets by working collaboratively with the packaging team.

Qualifications & Skills:

* Minimum qualification: ITI / Diploma / 10+2 with technical training.

* 1–2 years of hands-on experience operating shrink wrapping machines in a beverage or FMCG unit.

* Proven ability to handle high-speed packaging (minimum *90 BPM*).

* Basic mechanical understanding for routine adjustments and minor repairs.

* Attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.

* Willingness to work in shifts and overtime when required.

Preferred Attributes:

* Experience with heat tunnel or steam tunnel wrapping systems.

* Knowledge of GMP and HACCP guidelines in food and beverage packaging.

* Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
