Machine Learning Engineer - NLP/Generative AI

As a ML Engineer at our organization, you will be expected to have a solid foundation in Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Generative AI, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). With at least 1+ years of practical experience in developing and implementing data-driven solutions, you will be an integral member of our AI-CoE team. Your responsibilities will involve working on cutting-edge projects that foster innovation and contribute to the business value of our organization. Specifically, your focus will be on creating AI-powered products that offer unique features to differentiate Tata Communications products and services. Your primary duties will include designing, developing, and deploying machine learning systems such as Generative AI models and LLMs. You will be tasked with researching and incorporating the latest ML algorithms and tools, as well as conducting data preprocessing, feature engineering, and statistical analysis. Furthermore, you will be responsible for training, fine-tuning, and optimizing machine learning models to enhance performance and accuracy. Collaboration with diverse teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and domain experts, will be crucial. Additionally, you will need to extend existing ML frameworks and libraries as needed to meet project requirements and remain informed about the latest developments in machine learning and AI. To excel in this role, you must demonstrate proficiency in machine learning and deep learning concepts. Your programming skills should encompass Python, SQL, and popular frameworks/tools like PyTorch, Sci-kit, NumPy, and Gen AI tools such as langchain/llamaIndex. Practical experience in MLOPs principles and executing projects with Big Data in both batch and streaming modes is essential. Proficiency in working with databases (SQL and NoSQL), along with familiarity with MLFlow, KubeFlow, Git CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and containerization/orchestration tools, is required. Strong problem-solving abilities, a proactive approach, effective communication, and teamwork skills are essential for success in this role. Your capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently and deliver within set deadlines will be crucial. Please note that the interview process will include a coding test.
