Machine Learning Engineer

As a Machine Learning Engineer at Barclays, your role will involve supporting the successful delivery of Location Strategy projects to plan, budget, agreed quality, and governance standards. You will be spearheading the evolution of the digital landscape, driving innovation and excellence by harnessing cutting-edge technology to revolutionize digital offerings and ensure unparalleled customer experiences. **Key Responsibilities:** - Identify, collect, and extract data from various sources, including internal and external sources. - Perform data cleaning, wrangling, and transformation to ensure data quality and suitability for analysis. - Develop and maintain efficient data pipelines for automated data acquisition and processing. - Design and conduct statistical and machine learning models to analyze patterns, trends, and relationships in the data. - Develop and implement predictive models to forecast future outcomes and identify potential risks and opportunities. - Collaborate with business stakeholders to seek out opportunities to add value from data through Data Science. **Qualifications Required:** - Experience with exposure to Data Science concepts, machine learning life cycle, and model evaluation. - Proficiency in Python programming language. - Exposure to GenAI concepts and Data Engineering concepts. - Understanding of generalization techniques like Ensemble, stacking, and time series concepts. - Ability to quickly build prototypes/UI using streamlit/react or other Python/JS based scripting languages. - Exposure to infra-based tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, and cloud monitoring systems. - Familiarity with version control systems like git, bitbucket, and basic SQL queries.
