Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Purchasing Assistant located in Pune. The Purchasing Assistant will be responsible for managing purchasing processes, handling purchase orders, and procuring necessary materials and products. Daily tasks include sourcing suppliers, negotiating prices, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. Effective communication with suppliers and internal teams is essential to ensure smooth procurement operations. This role requires attention to detail and dedication to maintaining quality standards. As an Associate – Manufacturing , you will work under the supervision of the Manufacturing Supervisor and be responsible for key data collection, reporting, and supporting compliance tasks that ensure the plant operates efficiently and in adherence to quality management system standards. You will assist in: Daily production data collection and log preparation Productivity and downtime reporting Ensuring adherence to ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 documentation Supporting internal and external audit preparations Identifying non-conformities and assisting with root cause analysis Updating control plans, work instructions, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) as directed Qualification and Education Requirements ITI/NCTVT or Bachelor’s Degree Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Automobile / Electrical or other relevant fields Preferred Skills Understanding of manufacturing processes and production planning Hands-on experience in monitoring production output and downtime Knowledge of IATF 16949:2016 documentation & basic ISO 9001 systems Familiarity with quality tools like 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, and Control Charts Knowledge of CAD/Coral will be an added advantage Calculation of Productivity , Time Study , Efficiency of Operators Basic mathematical and analytical skills Strong attention to detail and compliance mindset Good verbal and written communication (English/Marathi/Hindi) Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.) Email: hr@lotustapes.com
