Job Description

Key Responsibilities: SAP System Installation and Configuration: Setting up and configuring SAP systems, including databases like HANA, Oracle, and others. System Administration: Managing users, roles, and authorizations within the SAP environment. System Monitoring and Performance Tuning: Continuously monitoring system performance and optimizing it for efficiency. SAP System Upgrades and Patch Management: Applying upgrades, support packages, and patches to keep the system up-to-date. Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution: Diagnosing and resolving technical issues within the SAP environment. Backup and Recovery: Implementing and managing backup and recovery strategies for SAP systems. Transport Management: Managing the movement of changes and enhancements between different SAP systems. Security Management: Ensuring the security of the SAP system and its data. Collaboration: Working closely with other functional and technical teams to support the SAP landscape. Staying Updated: Keeping abreast of the latest SAP technologies and best practices. Skills and Qualifications: Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of SAP Basis components and their functionalities. Database Knowledge: Experience with various SAP databases like HANA, Oracle, etc. Operating System Knowledge: Familiarity with operating systems like Windows Server and Linux. Networking Concepts: Understanding of networking concepts like routers, firewalls, and VPNs. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues. Communication Skills: Ability to communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and identify trends.
