GEODIS Supply Chain Optimization (GEODIS SCO)

In this context, GEODIS SCO designs, implements, and operates logistics management solutions for its clients. These services are based on operational centers (control towers), information systems (TMS), and a capacity to procure transport and logistics services.

The operational teams optimize and manage the daily transport flows and orders of our clients. To meet global and regional needs, these teams are located in the Americas, Europe, and APAC regions.

Within GEODIS SCO, the Solution Design Engineering department's mission is to design flow management solutions and optimize the logistics flows and processes of our existing clients, improving performance and reducing costs and CO2 emissions.

1. You help our clients, and our teams succeed and overcome logistics constraints.
2. You participate in the commercial development of our operations during the tender phase.
3. You contribute to the retention of our client portfolio by optimizing existing flows and processes.

Your main missions are:

• Analyze and optimize the supply chain and transport solutions of our clients.
• Participate in the development of our activities: sizing of operational resources for control towers, defining forecast operating budgets, supporting technical and pricing offers.
• Act as a consultant in various areas of the supply chain.
• Participate in the engineering community (knowledge sharing, deployment of new tools) and the development of innovative solutions.

Daily, you work closely with the sales, IT, finance, operations, and procurement teams.

Profile:

• Operating in an international context, your English proficiency is fluent.
• Skilled in data analysis and processing with strong analytical and synthesis capabilities, you will regularly use data analysis and flow optimization tools.
• You demonstrate initiative and creativity to address and solve complex problems.
• Curious, you are interested in technologies related to supply chain visibility and digitalization.
• You are a graduate of an engineering school, ideally with a specialization in supply chain.
• You have at least 5 years of professional experience in the field of supply chain and transport, acquired in a transport study office (3PL or shipper), in logistics/transport service procurement or in a supply chain consulting firm.
