Logistics Solutions Engineer

Role Overview: GEODIS Supply Chain Optimization (GEODIS SCO) operates globally as a 4PL, managing logistics and transport services. The Solution Design Engineering department within GEODIS SCO focuses on designing flow management solutions to enhance logistics processes and reduce costs and CO2 emissions for clients. As a member of this department, you will contribute to optimizing existing flows and processes, supporting commercial development during the tender phase, and ensuring the success of both clients and internal teams. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze and optimize supply chain and transport solutions for clients. - Support in the development of activities by sizing operational resources, defining budgets, and assisting in technical and pricing offers. - Act as a consultant across various supply chain areas. - Engage in the engineering community for knowledge sharing and deployment of new tools. - Collaborate daily with sales, IT, finance, operations, and procurement teams. Qualifications Required: - Fluent in English for international operations. - Proficient in data analysis and processing, with strong analytical and synthesis capabilities. - Demonstrate initiative and creativity in problem-solving. - Interest in technologies related to supply chain visibility and digitalization. - Graduate of an engineering school, preferably with a specialization in supply chain. - Minimum 5 years of professional experience in supply chain and transport, ideally in a transport study office, logistics/transport service procurement, or a supply chain consulting firm.,
