Logistics & Services Associate

As an employee at APM Terminals in Ballabhgarh, your key responsibilities will include building strong and lasting relationships with all stakeholders within the customers" organisation. It is crucial to ensure that all customer issues, escalations, and queries are attended to promptly with minimal escalations. You will be expected to deliver relationship-based customer service and follow up daily on shipments pending for pickup and delivery. Collaborating with the team, your focus will be on achieving top quartile results on customer experience and fostering an owner mindset for business success. Daily meetings with the Supply Chain Management team will be conducted to provide updates on urgent shipments. You will also be responsible for maintaining invoice tracking with transporters and ensuring timely submission of invoices. Converting customer demand forecasts into capacity plans at a plant level will be part of your role, along with coordinating with customers, their plants, and other third-party logistics providers to ensure seamless logistics planning. Coordination of domestic logistics processes across various transport models, from cargo readiness to delivery at the destination, will be essential. Additionally, you will coordinate material/container pickups, customs clearance, packaging, and availability of necessary equipment for loading products into containers/outbound vehicles. Obtaining exceptional cost approvals from the plant team when required and maintaining various reports will be part of your daily tasks. Proficiency in Excel for tasks such as VLOOKUP and pivot tables, as well as strong English verbal and written communication skills, are must-have qualifications for this role. You will also be responsible for coordinating with third-party teams for loading and unloading activities.
