In this role as a Logistics & Operations Executive at Pet Chef, a Mumbai-based startup, you will be responsible for supporting the daily operational flow of the business. Working closely with the COO and Co-founder, your primary focus will be on ensuring timely production, delivery, and customer satisfaction through efficient logistical planning and execution. Key Responsibilities: - Planning & Organising: Assist in scheduling deliveries, managing production timelines, and coordinating daily logistics. - Supplier Management: Liaise with vendors for timely production and delivery, handle discrepancies, and maintain positive supplier relationships. - Transportation Coordination: Arrange FTL & LTL transportation, schedule vehicle dispatches, and track deliveries for timely fulfilment. - Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, forecast demand, manage reorder points, and reduce inventory wastage. - Documentation: Maintain accurate shipment records, invoices, and logistics documentation in compliance with requirements. - Cross-functional Collaboration: Coordinate with procurement, production, and customer service teams for smooth operational execution. - Problem Solving: Address delays, disruptions, or quality concerns with swift corrective actions. - Route Planning: Design efficient delivery routes considering cost, time, and delivery priorities. - Customer Service Support: Respond to delivery inquiries and resolve logistics-related issues promptly. Key Skills & Qualifications: - Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite (mandatory). - Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. - Ability to present and explain information clearly to managers and teams. - Excellent coordination, planning, and organizational skills. - Passionate about pets and pet wellness (a plus!).
