Description
Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement logistics strategies to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective transportation. Manage and monitor inbound and outbound shipments. Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and transportation companies . Maintain and optimize inventory levels across warehouses. Oversee warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods. Monitor logistics KPIs such as on-time delivery, shipping accuracy, and freight cost efficiency. Ensure compliance with local, national, and international transport laws and regulations. Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices. Collaborate with other departments (procurement, sales, customer service) to meet business goals. Manage and train logistics staff, drivers, and warehouse teams. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferably in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field. Proven experience (3+ years) in logistics or supply chain management. Knowledge of logistics software and tools (e.g., WMS, TMS, ERP systems). Excellent problem-solving, organizational and communication skills. · Experience in [industry-specific experience, if applicable, e.g., FMCG, manufacturing, e-commerce].
