Job Title: Credit Underwriter Key Responsibilities Evaluate loan applications for microfinance products by analyzing financial data, credit history, and repayment capacity. Conduct video calls to verify borrower information and assess creditworthiness. Collaborate with loan officers and branch teams to ensure accurate documentation and risk profiling. Prepare credit appraisal memos and recommend loan approvals or rejections. Monitor portfolio quality and flag early warning signals for delinquency. Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and regulatory guidelines. Provide feedback to product and risk teams for continuous improvement of underwriting models.
