Job Overview:

  • Internal auditors are tasked with a variety of responsibilities that collectively ensure an organization operates smoothly and adheres to established standards.

  • Internal auditors scrutinize the records to verify their accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

  • This process often includes reviewing accounting systems, financial statements, and other relevant documentation. Through meticulous analysis, to detect discrepancies, errors, or irregularities that may indicate deeper issues within the organization.

  • Internal auditors also play a crucial role in evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of business operations and analyzing various processes and workflows to identify areas where improvements can be made.

  • Internal auditors must possess a diverse set of skills to navigate the complexities of their role effectively.

  • Internal auditors must meticulously examine records, transactions, and processes to ensure nothing is overlooked. A keen eye for detail ensures that audits are thorough and accurate, fostering trust in the auditors findings.

  • In addition to these technical skills, internal auditors must exhibit strong ethical standards. Integrity and objectivity are the cornerstones of the profession, as auditors often deal with sensitive information and must remain impartial in their assessments.

Job Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Processing loans in accordance with the requests or tasks queued, ensuring completion within the designated timeframe. Obtaining appropriate evidence of execution of the test step and documenting all findings and observations within the testing template. Evidence may include but is not limited to documents, screen shots from internal/external systems, or email communications.

  • Adhere to established standard operating procedures to execute tasks with precision and achieve accuracy on the first attempt.

  • Capture required data points pertinent to transaction processing to facilitate report generation and performance assessment.

  • Commit to a 9-hour work schedule to consistently meet daily SLA and KPI objectives.

  • Engage actively during training sessions to clarify any uncertainties, while providing support to colleagues and contributing to the achievement of team objectives.
