LLM Data Scientist

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for building linguistic models, prompt engineering for large language models (LLM) and designing user interfaces that facilitate natural language input and output.
• Utilize proven hands-on experience with GPT architectures to design, train, and customize models for LLM, image-to-text, and/or text-to-image projects.
• Designing and implementing cutting-edge generative models, with a focus on LLMs such as GPT, Transformer Models like Bert, Diffusion Models, to improve the performance and capabilities of LLMs.
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to develop new and groundbreaking solutions that leverage LLMs.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in generative AI, NLP, and related fields, and integrating new techniques into our workflows.
• Proficient in software design patterns, object-oriented vs functional programming principals, inheritance, writing abstract, reusable, and modular code
• Well versed with Machine Learning concepts and hands-on experience with:
• Natural Language Processing
• Unsupervised and supervised learning pipelines (Classification, clustering, etc.)
• Recommendation algorithms
• NER (Entity recognition)
• Experience with neural networks and Deep learning algorithms is preferred Ability to quickly prototype ideas / solutions, perform critical analysis, and use creative approaches for solving complex problems
• Work with an Agile mindset to create value across projects of multiple scopes and scale
• Independently think, problem-solve, and drive research and development initiatives in the field of LLM, GPT, and related areas. Stay up to date with the latest advancements in the field of ML, AI, and DS.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3-4 years of industry experience in generative AI, with a focus on LLMs and NLP
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Strong proficiency in Python coding and experience working with frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch or Hugging Face.
• Extensive knowledge of Transformer Models like Bert and GPT, as well as experience with Diffusion Models.
• Familiarity with cloud computing and distributed systems, particularly AWS or Google Cloud
• Solid understanding of machine learning concepts, algorithms, and generative AI architectures.
• Effectively communicate complex ideas, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
• A strong passion for cutting-edge technologies and a drive to continuously learn and experiment with new approaches in the field of generative AI.
• Experience in data engineering, data warehousing, ETL development, or cloud data engineering.
• Strong SQL knowledge and excellent Python programming skills with expertise in relevant libraries.
• Proficiency in at least one cloud platform: Azure, AWS, or GCP and knowledge of advanced data engineering services
• Spark and Scala - Handson experience using the framework
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
