Responsibilities

Document patient encounters in real time using Eclinical Works (ECW) electronic health record (EHR) software.
Accurately record patient medical histories, chief complaints, eye exam findings, visual acuity measurements,
machine readings (e.g., OCT, visual field tests)
, physician assessments, and treatment plans specific to ophthalmology.
Analyze and interpret visual acuity and diagnostic machine readings to ensure precise documentation.
Communicate effectively with ophthalmologists and healthcare team members to facilitate seamless documentation.
Maintain strict patient confidentiality in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience with Eclinical Works (ECW) EHR software.
Demonstrated experience in analyzing visual acuity and ophthalmology diagnostic machine readings (e.g., OCT, visual field tests, or fundus photography).
Strong familiarity with ophthalmology terminology and procedures.
Proficient typing and computer skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Capable of multitasking and thriving in a fast-paced setting.
