Job Summary

Linux System Administrator

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain
Linux servers
(CentOS, Ubuntu, or Red Hat).
Manage
user accounts, permissions, and system security
.
Monitor system performance, resource utilization, and logs using tools like top, vmstat, journalctl, or Grafana.
Perform
regular system updates, patch management
, and backups.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
Write and maintain
shell scripts
(Bash/Python) for automation of repetitive tasks.
Support
DevOps workflows
, including:

Version control using
Git
.
Basic
CI/CD pipeline
setup (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions).
Working knowledge of
containerization (Docker)
and basic
cloud platforms
(AWS/Azure/GCP).

Implement
configuration management
and
infrastructure as code
concepts (basic Ansible or Terraform experience is a plus).
Maintain
system documentation
, change logs, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
