Job Description

Key Responsibilities :-

Installing & Upgrading OS (RedHat, Centos) including Major release upgrade.

Performing LVM activities (LV Migration, Mirroring and Moving PV's, Creating, Extending, Reducing and removing the File Systems).

Executing Veritas Cluster tasks (Resource group failover, suspend, stop and start).

Implementing ASM Disk addition & removal requests.

Co-Ordinating & Performing Hardware replacement.

Managing & Resolving user authentication problems.

Installing & Deploying Project related components

Build new servers & fixing the automation workflow issues.

Installing OS drivers & Performing firmware upgrade.

Identify the various OS related issue & Monitoring System Performance of Virtual memory, System events, Swapping, Disk utilization, CPU utilization also provide the solutions to that.

Setting up Swap file systems & Scheduling of automatic, repetitive Jobs using basic shell scripting.

Troubleshooting Linux Physical & Virtual Servers

Satellite server Administration (Maintaining the subscription, Upgrade Satellite server, Content creation).
