Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES: (Strong in either Linux/Networks or both)

Linux

Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers across physical and virtual environments.
Manage system performance, resource utilization, and uptime; apply patches and updates regularly.
Administer services such as Apache, Samba, NFS, MySQL, and SSH.
Implement and maintain user authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., LDAP, Kerberos).
Perform system backups, disaster recovery planning, and restore operations.
Monitor logs and system health using tools like Nagios.

Networks

Design, deploy, and support LAN/WAN infrastructure, including Internet and intranet systems.
Install and maintain network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) and software.
Configure IP addressing, routing protocols, and VLANs; manage routing tables and NAT.
Monitor network traffic and performance; isolate and resolve connectivity issues.
Ensure secure access and availability for authorized users via VPNs and firewall rules.
Maintain network services such as DNS, DHCP, and directory services integration.
Support endpoint connectivity including desktops, printers, phones, and smart devices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Any Graduation
2-5 Years of Experience

OTHER REQUIRED SKILLS: (Strong in either Linux/Networks or both)

Linux

Strong proficiency in Linux administration (e.g., CentOS, RHEL).
Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, DHCP, and DNS.
Familiarity with virtualization platforms (Hyper-V Virtualization).

Networks

Solid understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience with network hardware installation and diagnostics.
Skilled in using monitoring and diagnostic tools (e.g., Nagios, PRTG, SolarWinds)

General

Effective problem-solving and customer service orientation.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Strong written communication and documentation skills.
Knowledge of disaster recovery planning and implementation.
Continuous learning mindset and adaptability to new technologies
