Linux Driver Sr Engineer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for developing Linux display drivers with expertise in technologies such as MIPI DSI, DisplayPort, HDMI, HDCP, and CEC. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work with Android Display framework and Wayland/Weston Compositor, contributing to an efficient and effective software engineering process. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize excellent C/C++ programming skills to develop and maintain Linux display drivers - Hands-on experience with Display technologies like MIPI DSI, DisplayPort, HDMI, HDCP, and CEC - Familiarity with Android Display framework components such as SurfaceFlinger, HardwareComposer, and Display HAL - Knowledge of Wayland display server protocol and Weston Compositor is an added advantage - Strong understanding of OS concepts and memory management - Experience working with ARM/ARM64 architecture is a plus - Proficient in debugging, analytical thinking, and problem-solving - Effective communication skills, self-driven attitude, positive mindset, and a hardworking approach Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 2+ years of Software Engineering experience, or Master's degree with 1+ year of experience, or PhD in relevant field - 2+ years of academic or work experience in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc. Company Details: Qualcomm is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity and inclusivity.
