Linguistic Editor & QA (Non Tech)

As a Linguistic Editor & QA at our company, your role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and excellence of our localized video content. You will be responsible for evaluating dubbed videos in Hindi, Marathi, and English, maintaining quality control across linguistic, audio, and visual aspects. Your attention to detail and linguistic skills will play a key role in delivering high-quality output. Key Responsibilities: - Evaluate dubbed/localized videos for linguistic, audio, and visual accuracy based on client guidelines and industry standards. - Translate and refine video scripts from English/Marathi to Hindi, ensuring natural flow, cultural relevance, and synchronization with visual timing. - Identify and report inconsistencies in audio mixing, lip-sync, background noise, or subtitle mismatches. - Review and enhance machine-translated content while preserving the original tone and sentence structure. - Collaborate with editors and sound designers to promptly address QA issues. - Generate detailed QA reports with clear observations, improvement suggestions, and error logs. - Contribute to the development and updating of quality assurance standards and checklists. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in media. - Proficient in spoken and written English, Hindi, and Marathi. - Strong understanding of cultural and linguistic nuances in localization. - Basic experience in audio editing and language review for multimedia content. - Experience in Linguistic QA is a strong advantage. - Attention to detail and dedication to delivering high-quality work. Additionally, you should have a basic working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud and DaVinci Resolve, with familiarity in video/audio formats, codecs, and compression settings. Your role will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure the accuracy and quality of our localized video content.,
