Strong knowledge of hot forging operations, leadership onthe shop floor, discipline in production processes, and abilityto handle manpower effectively.

RESPONSIBILITIES

● Supervising day-to-day forging line activities.

● Ensuring operators follow correct forging proceduresand quality standards.

● Monitoring shift-wise production output and reportingdeviations.

● Managing manpower allocation on machines andworkstations.

● Ensuring proper usage and availability of dies, tools,and lubricants.

● Supporting preventive maintenance schedules.

● Enforcing safety protocols and cleanliness on theshop floor.

● Coordinating with the production and maintenanceteams for smooth operations.

Educational Qualifications ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Fitter / Forging Technology

Experience

2 - 5 years of experience in a hot forging shop floor environment

Domain Knowledge

Hands-on experience in hot forging processes, die handling,and shop floor supervision.

Technical Knowledge

● Operation of forging hammers/presses

● Die heating and alignment

● Basic knowledge of forging defects and corrections

Background

● Willing to work on shop floor and in shifts

● Shift handling and basic team management

● Familiarity with production reporting and 5S practices

Skills

● Strong team leadership and coordination

● Problem-solving on the shop floor
