ob Title: Lift Safety Expert

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lift Safety Expert to ensure the safe operation, maintenance, and compliance of elevators (lifts) in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. The ideal candidate will have in-depth technical knowledge of lift systems, regulatory standards, and safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed safety inspections and audits of lift systems, including mechanical, electrical, and control components.
  • Ensure lifts are designed, installed, and maintained in accordance with national safety standards and regulations.
  • Identify potential safety hazards and provide corrective recommendations.
  • Analyze lift performance data and incident reports to improve safety measures.
  • Oversee lift maintenance schedules and supervise technicians during safety-critical maintenance tasks.
  • Provide expert advice on lift modernization and replacement projects.
  • Train building management and lift maintenance staff on best practices for lift safety and emergency procedures.
  • Prepare detailed safety reports and documentation for regulatory authorities.
  • Stay up-to-date with evolving safety codes, technologies, and industry standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or relevant technical discipline.
  • Proven experience in lift safety inspection, maintenance, or consultancy.
  • In-depth knowledge of national and international lift safety codes (e.g., EN 81, ASME A17.1).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and report writing abilities.
  • Certification as a lift safety inspector (preferred).

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in risk assessment methodologies.
  • Ability to handle emergency lift rescue operations.
  • Strong knowledge of PLC-based lift control systems.

Work Environment:
Work involves site visits to commercial, residential, or industrial buildings, as well as office-based tasks for reporting and documentation. The role may require occasional travel.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
