Liferay Architect

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development

  of portals using

  Liferay out-of-the-box portlets, Liferay MVC Portlets, Spring MVC Portlets, and Struts Portlets

  .

• Plan, configure, cluster, and optimize

  Liferay for performance and scalability.

• Administer and customize

  the Liferay commerce module to enhance user experience.

• Ensure portal security

  with advanced configurations and

  SAML integrations

  .

• Manage Liferay patches, updates, and migrations

  for a stable environment.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and test

  portal applications to ensure seamless functionality.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams

  to integrate Liferay with web servers, application servers, and databases.

• Mentor and lead

  development teams while interacting with stakeholders for project updates.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10-12 years of experience

  in

  Liferay Portal Development, Administration, and Commerce Customization

  .
• Expertise in

  Liferay DXP (7.2, 7.3, 7.4)

  with hands-on experience in

  Java, Spring, J2EE, and Web Services

  .
• Strong understanding of

  n-tier web applications

  , including

  web servers, application servers, databases, and infrastructure

  .
• Experience with

  SQL Server, Windows Server, and portal security best practices

  .
• Knowledge of

  JavaScript, React, Redux, HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, DHTML, and XSL/XSLT

  for front-end development.
• Experience in

  debugging, troubleshooting, and Agile Scrum methodology

  .
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to

  interact with clients and manage stakeholders

  .

Important Details

• This role will be remote initially, but candidates are expected to relocate to Hyderabad. The timeline for relocation will be discussed during the hiring process.
