Life Skills Educator

As a Life Skill Educator in the Child Program department, your role involves the smooth and effective implementation of the Holistic Development Component of the Project. Your key responsibilities include: - Delivering the Holistic Development Module to adolescents in standard 6th-8th in selected schools during school hours - Delivering the Work Readiness Module in the community to children in standard 9th & 10th - Coordinating and scheduling sessions in consultation with school authorities as per the project proposal - Engaging with school teachers and headmasters to update them regularly on project progress - Ensuring smooth coordination and communication with school authorities regarding the project's holistic development component - Supervising and supporting Community Coordinators in delivering the Community Connect Tool Kit to develop a supportive ecosystem for adolescents in the community - Supporting school authorities in strengthening School Management Committees (SMCs) and enabling their proactive involvement in school governance - Participating in capacity building programs as per the project design - Providing constant feedback on implemented curriculum to refine it - Maintaining MIS records as per prescribed formats - Documenting and providing timely updates and reports to key stakeholders - Facilitating data collection for monitoring and evaluation purposes - Keeping updated on safety rules, child rights, and protection regulations and integrating them into programs - Ensuring effective communication and reporting on program efficiency and effectiveness - Conducting capacity building of community coordinators - Facilitating, organizing, and participating in events and visits as required Desired Competencies: - Basic communication skills (written and oral) in local language and English - Good facilitation skills - Openness to field visits within and outside the city - Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with all levels of staff, volunteers, and school authorities - Working well under pressure and meeting deadlines - Outgoing and convincing personality - Commitment to learning about and educating others on the program's mission and goals Qualification: - Graduation in any stream (BSW/MSW is preferable),
