Job Description

Bachelor's degree: B.Lib degree with having atleast 1 year of experience

Collection and resource management

Acquire, catalog, and organize library materials (print, digital, and audiovisual).
Maintain and update the library's collection, including the online database or catalog.
Manage the library budget and order new resources.
Ensure library materials are presented in an accessible way.

Instruction and support

Teach students how to conduct research, evaluate sources, and use the library's resources effectively.
Support literacy initiatives through reading programs, book talks, and assisting students with reading.
Help students and faculty find information and resources for assignments, lesson plans, and personal interests.
Provide instruction on information literacy skills.

Programs and administration

Plan and organize library programs, such as book clubs, author visits, and other literacy events.
Create a welcoming and organized library environment.
Maintain the library's website.
Supervise library staff and volunteers, if applicable.
Collaborate with teachers to integrate library resources into the curriculum.
Ensure good discipline and a positive learning environment in the library.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
