Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations of the library.
• Maintain, update, and organize library resources (books, journals, e-resources, archives).
• Assist students, faculty, and staff in locating and using library resources.
• Implement cataloguing, classification, and indexing of materials.
• Develop and maintain digital and online resource systems.
• Monitor borrowing and returning of materials; maintain proper records.
• Ensure discipline and adherence to library rules and regulations.
• Plan and conduct library orientation programs and awareness activities.
• Coordinate with vendors for procurement of books, journals, and e-resources.
• Maintain budgetary records and ensure cost-effective library management.
• Stay updated with latest trends in information management and technology.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Science (MLIS/BLIS).
• Strong knowledge of library management systems and digital resources.
• Excellent organizational and cataloguing skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to guide students and staff in academic and research activities.
• Knowledge of modern e-learning tools and platforms preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
