Legal Researcher

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive legal research on statutes, case laws, regulations, and legal precedents relevant to company operations.
• Analyze and summarize judgments, legislations, and amendments for easy reference.
• Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents, agreements, and contracts.
• Maintain a database of legal resources, precedents, and case summaries.
• Prepare legal briefs, reports, and memoranda for internal use.
• Support the legal team in litigation matters by compiling relevant case laws and evidentiary documents.
• Stay updated with recent developments in law, regulatory changes, and industry-specific legal requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized university; LL.M. preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in legal research, preferably in a corporate or law firm environment.
• Strong understanding of corporate laws, contract laws, and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in using legal research tools such as SCC Online, Manupatra, LexisNexis, or equivalent.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
