Legal Internship

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legal Intern to join our property law team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various facets of property law, work alongside experienced legal professionals, and contribute to meaningful legal work. The intern will assist with legal research, document preparation, case management, and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Legal Research: Conduct thorough legal research on property laws, regulations, case precedents, and relevant statutes using online databases (e.g., Manupatra, SCC Online, Westlaw, LexisNexis) and physical libraries.
• Document Preparation: Assist in drafting, reviewing, and proofreading legal documents such as sale deeds, lease agreements, leave and license agreements, gift deeds, partition deeds, title reports, affidavits, plaints, written statements, and other court filings.
• Due Diligence Assistance: Support senior lawyers in conducting due diligence for property transactions, including reviewing title documents, encumbrance certificates, and other relevant records.
• Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support, including photocopying, scanning, filing, scheduling appointments, and managing correspondence.

Contract length: 3 months

Pay: ₹3,000.00 - ₹5,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 30 per week
