Legal Head (VP Level)

Role Overview: As a seasoned legal professional, you will be responsible for leading the legal function and providing strategic advice to the senior leadership team. Your expertise in trademarks, litigation, contracts (both domestic and international), and regulatory compliance will be crucial in this role. Ideally, you are currently leading the legal department in a large pharmaceutical organization. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the legal department, overseeing all legal, regulatory, and compliance functions. - Manage and strategize litigation and dispute resolution in civil, commercial, and regulatory areas. - Handle all aspects of trademark management, including filings, oppositions, and enforcement. - Draft, negotiate, and review complex commercial contracts such as licensing, supply, distribution, and global business agreements. - Ensure regulatory compliance with domestic and international pharmaceutical laws and guidelines. - Advise senior management and board members on legal risks, governance, and business transactions. - Supervise external counsels and enhance in-house legal capabilities. Qualification Required: - LL.B. (mandatory); LL.M. Additional Details: Experience: 15-20+ years in legal roles, with at least 5 years as the head of legal. Industry Background: Must have experience in a pharmaceutical company with a turnover of INR 10,000 Cr+. Strong expertise in litigation, contract law, and trademarks. Exposure to international legal and regulatory frameworks is essential. Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.,
