Role Overview: You will be a full-time on-site in-house attorney at ValueLabs in Hyderabad, responsible for tasks related to Intellectual Property matters. Your role will involve managing the IP portfolio of the Company, coordinating with external IP firms, contract review and negotiation of sale and buy side contracts, and advising the Company on corporate legal matters. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee and manage the company's intellectual property portfolio, including the creation and maintenance of a centralized data repository. - Establish and maintain strong business relationships with external intellectual property firms, ensuring seamless execution of IP filing, prosecution, and advisory requirements. - Provide timely updates to management on IP-related matters, ensuring informed decision-making and strategic direction. - Coordinate with internal departments, including marketing and consulting, to identify and pursue new IP opportunities. - Draft, review, and redline various agreements, such as MSA, NDA, LOI, Data Security Agreements, SOWs, and other IT contracts. - Collaborate with various internal departments and stakeholders, such as finance, delivery, security, executive teams, etc., to bring the contracts to closure. - Identify risks in the contracts and the company operations for effective risk mitigation. - Provide advice to the company on corporate legal matters. Qualification Required: - LLB/LLM from a reputed Law School - Thorough understanding of Intellectual Property laws with a strong background in the IP field and a minimum of 2 years of experience working in an IP firm. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English - Ability to comprehend and apply laws, such as Contracts Law, Intellectual Property Laws, and other statutes applicable to the governance of a company - Attention to detail and strong analytical skills Please note that this is a summary of the job description.
