Legal Document Assistant

We are looking for a meticulous and responsible Legal Document Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support attorneys and the legal department by drafting, organizing, reviewing, and filing legal documents to ensure the smooth functioning of the company's compliance and legal affairs. You will be responsible for assisting in the preparation, drafting, and revision of various legal documents such as contracts, agreements, memoranda, and legal opinions. It will be your duty to review document formatting, grammar, and compliance to ensure they meet legal and company standards. You will also manage and maintain legal document archives by establishing and updating electronic and paper filing systems. As a Legal Document Assistant, you will communicate with attorneys, business departments, and external partners to gather and organize necessary information. You will also assist in the contract approval process, document signing procedures, and track document execution to ensure timely filing and updating. Additionally, you will help in preparing legal reports and provide related administrative support. To be successful in this role, you should have a diploma or higher in a law-related field and ideally possess 1-3 years of experience as a legal assistant, clerk, or in a related profession. Recent graduates with exceptional qualifications will also be considered. A basic understanding of legal document formats, common clauses, and legal knowledge is required. Strong attention to detail, excellent writing and review skills, proficiency in office software and document management systems, good communication skills, and a collaborative attitude are essential.
