Job Description

As a Legal Counsel at Infosys, your role will involve preparing memos on complex regulatory issues and liaising with external counsel to ensure global regulatory compliances. You will review and finalize draft employment policy documents, employment contracts, and negotiate with clients and partners to resolve contractual deadlocks. Your expertise will be crucial in providing advice to Infosys stakeholders on employment issues such as transfer, termination, social security, and employee benefits. You will also be responsible for preparing responses on behalf of Infosys group for submission to courts, tribunals, and regulatory authorities, as well as executing litigation strategy and coordinating legal matters handled by external counsel. Additionally, you will liaise with insurers to manage contentious matters, contribute research papers to enhance the knowledge base of the legal function, and provide training on employment law issues to stakeholders.
