Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Associate to join our Real Estate & Property Law practice. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex real estate transactions, title due diligence, and regulatory compliance under Indian property law. You will be part of a dynamic legal team and collaborate with senior professionals, developers, financial institutions, and clients across diverse jurisdictions. This is an ideal role for lawyers looking to build a long-term career in conveyancing, title advisory, land acquisition, and property documentation . Key Responsibilities1. Drafting & Reviewing Legal Documents Draft and vet a wide range of property-related legal instruments, including: Conveyance Deeds Agreements to Sell & Sale Deeds Gift, Release, and Transfer Deeds Rectification Deeds General & Special Powers of Attorney Ensure compliance with statutory norms and minimize legal risk. 2. Title Search & Due Diligence Conduct title verification and review of land records, revenue documents, and encumbrance certificates. Prepare: Title Reports Search Reports Due Diligence Notes Legal Opinions Identify defects, suggest cures, and flag legal risks. 3. Mortgage & Loan Documentation Draft loan and security documents, including: Memorandum of Deposit of Title Deeds (MoDT) Intimation of Mortgage (IOM) Liaise with banks, NBFCs, and government authorities for smooth registration and compliance. 4. Government Liaison & Regulatory Compliance Coordinate with government offices for: Stamping and Registration Mutation, land conversion, and tax filings NOCs from Municipal and Development Authorities Manage compliance with all applicable local and state-level regulations. 5. Legal Research & Advisory Research and advise on: Transfer of Property Act Indian Registration Act Indian Stamp Act RERA Local development and zoning laws Prepare legal notes, case briefs, and client advisories. 6. Documentation & Client Communication Maintain up-to-date case files, trackers, and documentation systems. Draft legal notices, client updates, and reports. Ensure timely and professional communication with clients and stakeholders. Eligibility Criteria Educational Qualification: LL.B. (3-year or 5-year) from a recognized law school; must be enrolled with a State Bar Council. Experience: 1–3 years in real estate law, conveyancing, or property due diligence. Skills Required: Strong drafting and document vetting capabilities Working knowledge of Indian property law, land registration, and loan documentation Fluency in English and the local language (jurisdiction-specific) Excellent research, communication, and coordination skills Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month Schedule: Day shift Work Location: In person
