A Day in the Life

The Legal Associate role will support law department operations, particularly in the area of contracts review. A typical day in the life of a Legal Associate might include the following:

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts including client engagement letters, master services agreements, and statements of work.
• Assisting Request for Proposal (RFP) response team in preparing submissions to RFPs issued by various public agencies and private entities.
• Ensuring timely and accurate performance on assigned projects.

Who You Are

• You have 1-5 years of professional legal experience in a law firm or in-house law department setting.
• You have LL.B. (or integrated law degree) from a recognised university in India or a Juris Doctor (JD). Additional qualifications such as CS.
• You have strong business acumen, prior professional services firm experience preferred.
• You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both internal and external audiences, and the ability to communicate effectively in all media.
• You have strong organizational/follow-up skills, must be able to work on projects simultaneously and change tasks quickly and see projects to the end.
• You are able to propose solutions and think strategically with a high degree of professional ethics and integrity
• You are able to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.
• You are able to work outside of non-traditional business hours.
