Role & responsibilities

Manage legal function of Company. and its group companies, prevent infructuous litigation, offer counsel on legal issues, be an effective guardian of the organisation through limiting risk exposure and facilitate sustained growth of the Company. Handle legal matters in a timely, proactive, with long-term perspective and cost- efficient manner with a view to further business objectives and protect shareholder interests

Preferred candidate profile

1. Give end-to-end legal and compliance support by providing expert and strategic legal advice to management and achieve objectives set for legal section including internal governance policies to Company & other group companies.

2. Evaluating and weighing multiple inputs and impacts of any decision or course of action. Analyse various issues draw attention of management to legal implications of business propositions in a proactive and timely manner – foresee and forewarn issues & risks and proactively eliminate them – ethically and lawfully.

3. Effectively negotiate and oversee the execution of wide spectrum of contracts, bonds, agreements including, partnership, mergers & acquisitions (in India & abroad), product supply/service agreements, labour & other settlements, international business deals, work orders, consultant and vendor agreements; employment terms; draft legal out going notices & responses to legal communication received, claims & appeals and all other legal communication.
