Leed and Well Executive

Job Summary:

The LEED and WELL Executive is responsible for ensuring that building projects meet sustainability and wellness standards set by LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) and WELL Building Standard. This role involves working closely with design teams, contractors, and stakeholders to implement sustainable and wellness-focused building strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead sustainability and wellness certification processes for projects, including LEED and WELL certification.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project managers to integrate green building and health-focused strategies.
• Conduct sustainability assessments, material evaluations, and energy efficiency analyses.
• Ensure compliance with LEED, WELL, and other relevant environmental and health standards.
• Prepare and submit documentation required for LEED and WELL certification.
• Educate and train internal teams and external stakeholders on sustainability and wellness principles.
• Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and advancements in sustainable design.
• Develop strategies for reducing carbon footprint, improving indoor environmental quality, and enhancing occupant well-being.
• Engage with third-party auditors, certification bodies, and government agencies for compliance and approvals.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field.
• LEED AP (Accredited Professional) and/or WELL AP certification (Required or Preferred).
• Experience in green building certification, energy modeling, and environmental impact assessments.
• Strong knowledge of sustainable design principles, materials, and building technologies.
• Excellent project management, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Experience:

• 3–5 years of experience in sustainability consulting, green building certification, or a related field.
• Experience working with tools like LEED Online, Arc Skoru, and energy modeling software.
• Understanding of building codes, HVAC systems, and indoor air quality standards.
