Lead/Senior Engineer BESS & Solar PV

As a Lead/Senior Engineer for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) & Solar PV division at Illumine Industries Pvt. Ltd. Role Overview: - Spearhead the establishment of the BESS division and define technical frameworks - Lead engineering design and delivery of utility-scale and C&I Solar and BESS projects - Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, grid codes, and regulatory requirements - Coordinate with internal teams, EPCs, consultants, and utilities for seamless execution - Oversee preparation of single-line diagrams, layouts, protection studies, and connection documentation - Provide technical leadership during project execution, commissioning, and handover - Stay updated with evolving industry standards and best practices in clean energy engineering Key Responsibilities: - 5+ years of hands-on experience in Solar PV + BESS engineering in Australia - Deep knowledge of Australian Standards: AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 5139, AS 4777, AS 2067, etc. - Proven experience in power system design, energy storage integration, and grid connection - Familiarity with AEMO, DNSP processes, and grid application procedures - Proficient in tools like AutoCAD, PowerFactory, ETAP, PVsyst, or similar - Bachelors degree in Electrical/Power Systems Engineering or related field - CPEng or RPEQ accreditation (or in progress) is desirable - Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills Additional Details: Illumine Industries Pvt.
