Job Description

You will be part of the Mid-Vin Buck (MVB) team at Mid-Voltage Regulators, which focuses on delivering optimized power package solutions for enhanced performance, reliability, and throughput in response to the growing demand in various industries such as Enterprise, Industrial, Personal Electronics, Artificial Intelligence, and Autonomous Driving. Your role as a Validation Engineer will involve working hands-on to develop and validate power solutions that meet customer and market needs. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing validation boards, schematics, and layouts tailored to customer use cases and applications, ensuring modularization, mixed-signal compatibility, scalability, and alignment with customer EVMs. - Creating and documenting comprehensive validation plans, considering the device and system environment. - Defining the Validation Strategy encompassing Hardware, Software, and Instrumentation. - Generating and executing validation test cases using scripting languages like Python, Test stand, and Labview. - Conducting system-level and parametric tests with a focus on comprehensive analysis and problem-solving. - Collaborating closely with design and Firmware teams to address customer requirements, implement custom features, and resolve device-related issues. - Leading and mentoring junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment. Minimum Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field - 10+ years of relevant experience Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in validation engineering of analog products - Proficiency in hardware debugging - Strong time management and communication skills - Knowledge of simulating and designing inverters and/or DCDC converters - Familiarity with semiconductor power switches like MOSFET, IGBT, and SiC MOSFET - Expertise in tools such as Simplis, Matlab, Altium, PSPICE, LabView, and Python - Experience in schematic and PCB layout design using Altium - Ability to manage physical layout, signal grounding, and routing optimization - Demonstrated ability to handle complex design tasks effectively and efficiently - Attention to detail to ensure high-quality results - Collaboration skills to work effectively with colleagues and customers to create a positive working environment.,
