Job Summary
The Lead Trust Analyst is responsible for managing and overseeing cash disbursements and Trust-related financial operations within the EMT Disbursements team. This role supports the full lifecycle of settlement fund administration, including transaction processing, reconciliations, financial analysis, and reporting. The position requires strong analytical and accounting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and manage cash disbursements for the EMT team in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Perform financial analysis and prepare regular and ad-hoc financial reports.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of financial transactions.
- Support end-to-end financial operations, including disbursements, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Provide responsive and professional customer service to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with finance team members to enhance financial processes, accuracy, and service levels.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, service level agreements, and reporting timelines.
Education & Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (required).
- 36 years of experience in payment processing, lien-related work, or Trust administration, financial analysis, accounting, or a related finance role.
- Experience with Trusts or Escrow Accounts preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with cash disbursements and financial accounting
- Financial analysis, reporting, and data analysis expertise
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Customer relationship management and service-oriented mindset
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment
- Knowledge of service level management and financial controls
- Supervisory or coordination experience is a plus
- Professional financial certifications such as CFA, CPA, or equivalent are preferred.
