Overview

Senior Functional Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Functional & Domain Testing

• Perform

  functional, integration, system, end-to-end, and regression testing

  for corporate banking applications.
• Validate business workflows across

  Trade Finance, Cash Management, Host-to-Host (H2H), VAM, Liquidity Management Systems, Pooling

  , and cloud-based solutions.
• Conduct

  mobile banking platform testing

  , including functionality, usability, and performance validation.
• Execute

  API testing

  using industry-standard tools and ensure data accuracy in

  migration verification activities

  .

Automation & Tools

• Develop and maintain

  automation test scripts

  with at least

  2 years of automation experience

  .
• Advantageous experience with

  Watermelon tool

  for automation and reporting.
• Work with

  DevOps pipelines

  and AWS-based testing environments.

IGTB / Intellect Suite

• Work extensively with the

  IGTB Intellect application

  (minimum 1 year experience) for testing and validating banking functionalities.

Collaboration & Quality Management

• Partner with business analysts, developers, product owners, and client stakeholders to ensure quality delivery.
• Participate in

  Agile ceremonies

  (daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives) and contribute to continuous improvement.

Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare detailed

  test plans

  ,

  test cases

  ,

  defect reports

  , and

  execution summaries

  .
• Track and communicate test progress, risks, and dependencies effectively to project teams.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of functional testing experience

  in banking or financial services.
• Strong expertise in

  corporate banking channels

  and digital banking workflows.
• Hands-on experience in modules such as

  Trade Finance, Cash Management, H2H, VAM, Liquidity Management, Pooling

  , etc.
• Minimum

  1 year of experience with the IGTB Intellect application

  .
• Solid experience in

  System, Integration, E2E, Regression testing

  , and

  data migration validation

  .
• Proficiency in

  API testing

  .
• At least

  2 years of automation experience

  (Watermelon tool experience is a plus).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of

  software testing methodologies, QA best practices, Agile processes

  .
• Experience working in

  AWS

  and

  CI/CD DevOps

  environments.
• Willingness and flexibility to

  work from the client site

  when required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in large-scale banking digital transformation programs.
• Understanding of security and compliance practices in financial services.
• Exposure to performance testing concepts (optional but beneficial).
