About CAMS:

Besides serving as a B2B solutions partner, CAMS brings a unique ability of B2C to serve the end customers through a variety of touch points such as pan India network of Service centers, Call center and Online Services. The company was incorporated in year 1988, has four back-office delivery centers in Chennai, Business Continuity Plan (BCP) site at Coimbatore and a Pan India network of 270+ customer service centers. CAMS is a listed company as on 1st October 2020.

Role & responsibilities:

Quality Control and Error Management:

  • Perform quality checks to ensure transaction processing errors are limited to 0.5% across all processes handled.
  • Review and address errors promptly to maintain the error threshold.
  • Implement corrective actions and preventive measures to minimize future errors.

Operational Oversight:

  • Carry out daily operational activities in strict compliance with rules and regulations.
  • Monitor and guide the team to ensure the smooth execution of daily tasks.
  • Oversee the adherence to operational procedures and standards.

Reporting and Support:

  • Support the Manager with system setups and generating various MIS reports.
  • Prepare and review SEBI compliance reports, audit reports, and other departmental correspondences.
  • Ensure timely and accurate generation and distribution of reports.

Stakeholder Liaison and Audit Compliance:

  • Liaise with banks, vendors, AMC, and front offices to resolve queries efficiently.
  • Handle non-financial request processing and ensure timely dispatch of account statements and intimation letters to 100% of investors.
  • Prepare and send reports/documents to the Audit Team, respond to audit reports, and manage non-financial document processing and bank confirmations for cheque deposits.

Preferred candidate profile

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Commerce/Finance graduate with at least 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in managing fund operations, including document processing and transaction reconciliation.
  • Experience in handling customer queries and generating compliance reports is highly desirable.
