Lead Software Engineer

As a Lead Software Engineer at our Mumbai office, you will play a key role in the modernization of aging applications and administrative systems. Your strong attention to detail, desire for process ownership, and interest in implementing new technology will be highly valued as you contribute to a new team within our fast-growing organization. You will have the opportunity to collect, analyze, and document user requirements, design, modify, develop, and support software applications, and participate in the software validation process. Your responsibilities will also include creating software applications by following the software development life-cycle, communicating with team members, and utilizing skills in areas such as object-oriented programming (C#), databases (SQL), and web applications (ASP.NET). Additionally, there will be potential opportunities for you to lead software development projects. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and have at least 8-12 years of software development experience using technologies such as C#, Angular, Webservices, GraphQL, Git, and relational databases. Experience in Entity Framework and Azure DevOps would be advantageous, along with an understanding of the software development life cycle and software release management. Prior experience in modernizing systems to a cloud-based platform (Azure) is a plus. Strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills in English are essential for success.
