As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within the Asset and Wealth Management, you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm s business objectives. Job responsibilities Utilize Python and Java for data analysis and algorithm development. Develop and implement machine learning models and GenAI solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver data-driven solutions. Perform data mining and extraction from various sources. Ensure data quality and integrity in all projects. Communicate findings and insights effectively to stakeholders. Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience Education Degree in Engineering Stream, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. Proven experience with Python and Java programming languages. Extensive experience in developing and deploying machine learning models. Strong background in GenAI and its applications. Advanced proficiency in Python and Java. Expertise in GenAI technologies and frameworks. Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques. Experience with big data tools and platforms. Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Tableau. Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes. Knowledge of data engineering and ETL processes.
