Lead Software Engineer / Dot Net Full Stack Developer

Role Overview: As a skilled .NET developer with experience in a complex application environment, you will be responsible for contributing to the development and maintenance of critical software solutions at SS&C. Your role will involve working with multiple parallel development streams, utilizing your expertise in .NET frameworks and MS SQL Server to deliver high-quality, efficient code. Your pragmatic approach to software development will be crucial in balancing speed and quality to meet the organization's objectives. Strong written and verbal communication skills will also play a key role in collaborating effectively with internal and external teams. Key Responsibilities: - Commercial .NET development in a complex application environment - Utilizing MS SQL Server for complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning - Debugging complex production code and providing effective workarounds for urgent fixes - Applying expertise in designated areas of technical specialization - Collaborating with internal and external teams to formulate outcomes - Taking full ownership of assigned responsibilities and outcomes - Understanding customer and partner needs from both functional and operational perspectives - Effective communication across all levels of the organization and group sizes - Creating complex functions, scripts, stored procedures, and triggers to support application development - Analyzing existing SQL queries for performance improvements - Demonstrating knowledge of financial and investment products, such as Superannuation, Unit Trust, and Pension products - Working in a geographically distributed team environment Qualifications Required: - Commercial .NET development experience in a complex application environment - Strong understanding of .NET frameworks, preferably as a full-stack developer - MS SQL Server experience, including complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Experience with TFS and Visual Studio products - Extensive coding, testing, and documentation experience - Knowledge of financial and investment products - Experience working in a geographically distributed team environment,
