Lead Software Engineer

You will be joining our team as a Lead Software Engineer for a remote position based in India. With 6-8 years of experience, you will work full-time on an early-stage product with a high ownership role. As a hands-on builder with a passion for modern tech stacks and AI, you will have the opportunity to lead core engineering decisions and architect impact right from Day 1. Your responsibilities will include leading the development of end-to-end features, spanning from backend services to frontend components. You will drive decisions on architecture, scalability, cloud infrastructure, and data pipelines. Collaboration with AI and product teams to integrate Generative AI and LLMs into real-world applications will be crucial. Building scalable systems to support a high-growth user base and transaction volumes is also part of the role. You will be expected to implement clean, efficient, testable code with an agile, ownership-driven mindset. The ideal candidate will possess strong backend expertise in Python and related frameworks, along with frontend experience in React.js or Node.js-based stacks. Deep experience with AWS Cloud Infrastructure, particularly Lambda, S3, DynamoDB/RDS, IAM, etc., is required. Experience with AI/ML, specifically Generative AI, LLMs, and fine-tuning workflows, is a must. Excellent skills in system design, data engineering pipelines, and API architecture are highly valued. We are looking for someone with 6-8 years of hands-on software engineering experience, ideally with prior experience at a fast-paced startup where they demonstrated ownership of major modules/features. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with comfort in rapid prototyping and iterative development.
