Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Lead Software Development Test Engineer to join our team at The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development testing and be able to lead a team of engineers. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.

Roles and Responsibility

Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure high-quality software products.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements.
Design and implement automated testing scripts using various tools and technologies.
Analyze and report defects found during testing, working closely with development teams to resolve issues.
Mentor and guide junior engineers in testing best practices and methodologies.
Participate in agile development processes, providing input on testing strategies and priorities.

Job Requirements

Strong knowledge of software development life cycles and testing methodologies.
Experience with automation testing tools and technologies such as Selenium or Appium.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines in an agile development environment.
Strong understanding of testing principles and methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
