Lead - Software Development & Research Informatics

As a Full Stack Architect with Python experience, you will play a crucial role in leading the development of applications and solutions to meet client requirements and support Research Informatics activities. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading the Software Development and Engineering team to create new software, web applications, and informatics solutions. - Providing continued support for existing applications and those currently in development. - Overseeing implementation and infrastructure initiatives, including software updates. - Actively supporting the research informatics group in software planning and development. - Offering thought leadership in technology direction and best practices for developing enterprise-class solutions. - Supervising the training, hiring, and performance of the software development team. - Participating in the Research Informatics senior leadership team to represent the technology perspective and strategic objectives. - Growing and leading a high-performing development organization through a collaborative work environment. Desired Candidate Profile: - Educational Qualification: B.Tech/M.Tech/MS in Computer Science/Engineering/Applications - Technical/Functional Skills: Experience in large-scale software development, proficiency in various backend languages and frameworks, familiarity with databases, webservers, UI/UX design, project management tools, and continuous improvement/development pipelines. - Experience: 12+ years in software product development and project management. - Behavioral Skills: Strong communication, customer service orientation, problem-solving abilities, team leadership experience, goal-setting skills, and collaboration capabilities.
