Lead Software Development Engineer

You are a highly motivated and experienced Lead Software Development Engineer who will be a hands-on coder, technical leader, and mentor. Your main responsibilities include contributing to software solutions development, demonstrating expertise in specific tech stacks such as Java, .NET with C#, Node.js, etc., designing, developing, and testing software applications while ensuring code quality and best practices adherence. As a Lead Software Development Engineer, you will lead and mentor a small team of 2-5 software engineers by providing guidance, support, and technical direction. You will be responsible for delegating tasks effectively, monitoring team progress, conducting code reviews for quality assurance, and supporting the professional development of team members. Additionally, you will train interns and freshers on Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) & Agile Practices. Your role will involve active participation in all phases of the SDLC, working in an Agile environment, contributing to the continuous improvement of development processes, and collaborating closely with various stakeholders. You will work closely with product managers/owners, customer success teams, and production support teams to understand requirements, prioritize features, and address production issues. You should have 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a product-based company. Hands-on coding experience in specified tech stacks, proven experience in leading and mentoring small teams, strong understanding of Agile methodologies, and excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills are essential for this role. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.,
