Lead Snowflake Platform Architect - Vice President

As an Engineering Lead Analyst at Citi, you will be responsible for leading various engineering activities to ensure quality standards are met within the existing and planned framework. Your role will involve designing, acquiring, and deploying hardware, software, and network infrastructure in coordination with the Technology team. Additionally, you will focus on designing, building, and operating the modern data analytics platform across AWS, GCP, and Snowflake to enable secure, scalable, and efficient data analytics capabilities for Citi's users. **Key Responsibilities:** - Serve as a technology subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders - Architect and implement cloud-native data analytics infrastructure and services across AWS, GCP, and Snowflake - Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform - Build and maintain enterprise-grade data governance capabilities - Collaborate with data engineering, information security, and platform teams to define and enforce best practices for data infrastructure - Define necessary system enhancements for deploying new products and process improvements - Recommend product customization for system integration - Identify problem causality, business impact, and root causes - Advise or mentor junior team members - Influence decisions through advice, counsel, or facilitating services - Assess risk and drive compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations **Qualifications:** - 6-10 years of relevant experience in an Engineering role - Proficiency in AWS and/or GCP cloud-native services for data analytics - Deep expertise in Snowflake administration - Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and GitOps-based pipelines - Background in Financial Services or a large complex and/or global environment - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Analytic and diagnostic skills - Ability to work in a matrix environment and partner with virtual teams - Capability to work independently, multi-task, and take ownership of project components - Proven track record of operational process change and improvement **Education:** - Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience required - Masters degree preferred In addition to the above requirements, you will play a crucial role in impacting the engineering function by applying your knowledge and expertise to contribute to the business goals effectively.,
