Job Summary:

Lead Snowflake Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and optimization of scalable data pipelines and data models in

  Snowflake

  .
• Implement and manage

  Airflow

  workflows for orchestration and scheduling of data pipelines.
• Build and maintain transformation workflows using

  dbt

  to ensure clean, reliable, and reusable datasets.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain complex

  SQL queries

  and

  stored procedures

  to support business requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, data analysts, and business teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  
• Define and enforce best practices around data quality, governance, and security.
  
• Mentor junior data engineers, provide technical leadership, and conduct code reviews.
  
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive end-to-end data engineering initiatives.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in

  Data Engineering

  with proven expertise in

  Snowflake

  .
• Strong proficiency in

  Airflow

  for orchestration and scheduling.
• Hands-on experience with

  dbt

  for data modeling and transformations.
• Strong programming skills in

  SQL

  with expertise in writing and optimizing

  stored procedures

  .
• Experience in performance tuning and optimizing data pipelines.
  
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, ELT/ETL processes, and best practices.
  
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  

Good to Have:

• Exposure to Python or other scripting languages.
  
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices in data engineering.
